FAQ
Below you will find answers to the most common questions you may have on TheTravelMorena.com .
Do I have to review your terms and conditions before booking a trip?
Yes, we kindly ask that all clients read and understand our terms and conditions prior to booking any trip. Once a trip is booked, you are responsible for adhering to these policies in addition to the supplier policies. If someone else books a trip on your behalf, it is still your responsibility to make sure you've reviewed and agreed to our policies before sending any payment. We want to ensure everything runs smoothly for you, so taking a moment to review our terms will help us create the best experience possible!
ā
Is the travel quote free?
We no longer offer free travel quotes. However, when you book one of our planning services, your consultation includes up to three complimentary travel quote options tailored to your preferences. To get started, simply complete the form under the quote tab on our website.
What are your travel booking Terms & Conditions?
When you book with The Travel Morena, it’s important to understand the terms of our agreement. The terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to your travel advisor, and "you" refers to the individual who books with us.
āā
Cancellation Policies & Fees
By booking, you acknowledge that there may be cancellation policies, change fees, and penalties tied to your travel package and services. These fees are separate from the cost of your trip, and unused portions of travel vouchers are non-refundable. Make sure to review these policies to avoid surprises later.
ā
Availability & Price Quotes
Prices and availability are only guaranteed once your payment is made. Travel quotes are based on current rates and may fluctuate, especially for international trips where exchange rates apply. If government fees or supplier costs increase after you book, we’ll do our best to stick to the original price, but in some cases, additional costs may apply.
ā
Flight Details & Name Accuracy
Flight prices and availability can change after your deposit. This could include added fees for things like seat assignments, baggage, fuel surcharges, or taxes. Important: It’s up to you to provide the correct legal names for your airline tickets. Passport copies are required for international flights. Name changes aren’t allowed on airline tickets, so double-check everything before confirming.
ā
Payment & Credit Card Authorization
If additional costs are incurred (like extra government fees), you authorize us to charge your card for these amounts. If for any reason your payment is declined, you agree to cover any legal or recovery fees needed to collect payment.
ā
Responsibility for Travel Arrangements
We act as a middleman for booking your travel services, such as flights, hotels, and activities, which are provided by independent vendors. We don’t operate or control these services directly. This means we can’t be held responsible for any delays, accidents, or issues caused by these third-party providers. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Our goal is to help your group create memories that go beyond the itinerary.

While we always recommend trip insurance for maximum flexibility, we’ll do everything we can to assist with changes, advocate with suppliers, and minimize any penalties. We’re here to help you adapt without unnecessary stress.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we do! With The Travel Morena, you can choose our "pay as you go" option with most bookings. This allows you to make a down payment on your trip and then pay off the remaining balance in easy installments. Most final payments are due 45-60 days before your trip.
ā
If the balance isn’t paid by the deadline, your booking may be canceled by the supplier, and we can’t be held responsible for any fees or cancellations. By making a payment, you agree to these terms.
ā
Bonus Tip: You may also be able to spread the cost over monthly payments that go beyond your trip dates, depending on the supplier and if you qualify.
Do I have any Client Responsibilities?
When you book a trip with The Travel Morena, here are a few things you'll need to take care of to ensure everything runs smoothly:
ā
1. Travel Documents & ID
It’s your responsibility to make sure you have the right travel documents for your trip. For international travel, you’ll need a valid passport that doesn’t expire until at least 6 months after your return. Also, some countries require that you have at least two to four blank pages in your passport for visa stamps. Make sure to double-check this before your trip: airlines can refuse to let you board if you don’t meet these requirements.
ā
If you're traveling domestically or internationally, always carry at least two forms of ID (like a passport or enhanced driver’s license) that match the name and details on your flight tickets. For more info, you can visit the U.S. State Department website.
ā
2. Visas & Entry Requirements
Some destinations may require a visa to enter the country. Even if you get a visa, keep in mind that the final decision for entry is made by immigration officials when you arrive. Things like past criminal records could affect their decision. If you’re denied entry or your visa isn't approved, The Travel Morena is not responsible for any lost payments related to the trip.
ā
3. Health Requirements
Certain countries may require vaccinations or specific health precautions before you can visit. It’s a good idea to check with your doctor or visit the CDC website well in advance to see what’s needed for your trip. Some vaccines may need to be taken months before your departure, so plan ahead when booking your trip to avoid any last-minute issues.
ā
For more info on travel health and safety, visit the CDC or the U.S. State Department websites.
What's the travel booking process?
Step 1: Book a Planning Service
We begin with a personalized travel consultation. Once you book your planning service, you’ll receive up to three complimentary quote options tailored to your preferences, whether you’re dreaming of a cruise, a beach escape, or a cultural adventure.
ā
Note: A paid consultation is required to begin the quote process. Quotes are not provided without a confirmed planning service.
ā
Step 2: Review and Refine
Once you receive your quote options, you can:
āā
A. Ready to book?
Great. We’ll move forward with securing your trip with no additional fees.
āā
B. Need to explore other options?
If you want to adjust major details like destination or dates, an additional consultation fee may apply.
āā
Consultation Fees
$100 for 1 to 4 guests
$200 for groups of 5 or more
These fees cover the time and care it takes to create custom itineraries just for you.
āā

When you’re ready, we’ll finalize all the details. Depending on your travel needs, some additional service fees may apply:
Last-minute bookings (within 1 to 3 days) $350
Group travel fee $50 per person (included in the total or invoiced separately)
This ensures every traveler is accounted for and every piece of the puzzle is in place.
āā
Step 4: Need to Make Changes?
We understand life happens. If your plans shift after booking, here’s what to expect:
Late payment fee $25
Additional quotes (after the initial 3) $40 for two new options
Trip cancellation fee $50
Itinerary modifications (such as date or activity changes) $50
ā
Modifications begin once the associated fee is paid.
Important: If a payment is made after the final due date, suppliers may cancel your booking. This is outside our control, but we’ll assist however we can.
